His Majesty the King has approved the appointment of Lord Sarfraz as Squadron Colonel of 31 (Middlesex Yeomanry & Princess Louise’s Kensington) Signal Squadron.
31 Signal Squadron is part of the 71st (City of London) Yeomanry Signal Regiment. It plays a vital role in its current operational capacity as part of 3 (United Kingdom) Division, the Warfighting Division.
On his appointment, Lord Sarfraz said “It is a privilege to be appointed Honorary Colonel of a Squadron with such rich history and heritage. I look forward to supporting the Squadron and Regiment as best as I can.”
