The Prime Minister's Trade Envoy to Singapore, Lord Sarfraz of Kensington, delivered the opening remarks at an event held by JTC Corporation in London. JTC, Singapore's largest industrial landlord, is a statutory board under Singapore's Ministry of Trade and Industry that champions sustainable development.
On the UK-Singapore Strategic Partnership, Lord Sarfraz said "This new partnership takes our relationship to the next level, allowing us to work together to make an impact on some of the world biggest challenges: decarbonising our economy and increasing our energy security, harnessing the benefits of tech such as AI, while keeping our populations safe from the new and emerging threats."
